This week has been an incredible medley of events, all affirming God's greatness. We have seen the youth on the Nazarene Church step out of the boundaries and experience God in new ways. I'll try not to spoil too many of the stories, but one of my favorites came out of Monday night on the trip back to camp.

I got a phone call from Michelle (one of the leaders with AIM), saying, "Well, we got so excitied from seeing God work tonight that Pastor Tim forgot to put gas in the van!" As our car got closer, we decided to stop and see how we could help. Next thing you know, we can see the red and blue lights turn on behind us. The police officer decided to stop and see what all the commotion was about. Michelle, standing outside of shoulder, was the first to greet Officer Ryan and explain the situation, which she promptly followed up saying, "… and we said we were going to pray for anyone that stopped to help us, so we're going to pray for you."

I'm not sure that I've ever seen an officer as taken back as Officer Ryan was. His face was painted with shock and confusion, but yet you could see his appreciation. The side doors on the van opened up and we gathered around Ryan as one of the students prayed over Ryan. What a cool witness to this public servant. I'm certain he wasn't expecting that when he got out of his crusier, and yet, it was such a powerful reminder that Christ's love doesn't stop at VBS or at the skate park ministry.

God is Good!
